To make a building earthquake proof, put shear walls a shear core, and cross-bracing as it gives extra additional strength.
These are a list of things that make a home earthquake proof:
- External walls are 6 inches thick.
- Steel bars on the inside of walls.
- Reinforced concrete as the foundation.
- Hard soil under the home.
- Steel bars in the roof.
