To make a building earthquake proof, put shear walls a shear core, and cross-bracing as it gives extra additional strength.


These are a list of things that make a home earthquake proof:
  • External walls are 6 inches thick. 
  • Steel bars on the inside of walls.
  • Reinforced concrete as the foundation.
  • Hard soil under the home.
  • Steel bars in the roof.
