F Shape

F Shapes


  • Two pieces of ferrous steel are supplied.
  • Clean both pieces with emery paper and add engineering blue.
  • Mark out one piece exactly to the given measurements with a scriber.
  • Use the correct procedure for cutting out.
  • Place that piece over the second B.M.S and mark out at cut.
  • File to fit.
  • Use finishing techniques. 


In metal we were given two project to choose from and one of them was to F shapes that fit together, and i went with this one, this project took some time but we managed to achieve in the end, there were some minor mistakes that i have learnt from which i will make sure i wont make if i have the chance to make it again. and hopefully it will be perfect

the measurements are 60 mm long and 25 mm wide with two 15 mm cut outs

 
 


at the end of the the project i spray painted it red on one side and yellow on the other as my finish
